What has to be true before something appears here

• A date and a place. An entry without a verifiable when and where is research, not a record.
• A source we can name. Every entry shows where it came from.
• Fact separated from interpretation. We record what happened. Where the significance is contested or unresolved, the entry says so rather than smoothing it over.
• Consent. Only comics with a public profile appear.

Influence relationships

We publish 0 influence relationships today. An edge is only drawn on the record — a comic’s own words or a cited interview — never inferred from two people sharing a style, a city, or a bill. These are the relationship types the archive supports, and the standard each one has to meet:

• Influenced by — On record, in the comic's own words or a cited interview.
• Mentored by — A stated mentoring relationship, not an inferred one.
• Opened for — A documented booking on a specific date.
• Toured with — A documented shared tour.
• Wrote for — A credited writing role.
• Shared festival — Both on the same festival's programme in the same edition.
• Shared venue — Both credited at the same venue. The WEAKEST edge, and never on its own evidence of influence.
