Shaun Weiss began acting at age six in Bill Cosby’s Jell-O campaign and went on to appear in Pee-wee’s Playhouse, The King of Queens, Boy Meets World and the cult comedy Heavyweights. But he’s best known as Goldberg, the goalie in Disney’s Mighty Ducks trilogy. After a highly publicized battle with meth and heroin addiction—including arrests, homelessness and three years living on the streets—Shaun made an extraordinary comeback and has now celebrated seven years in recovery. Today, Weiss has turned those experiences into stand-up comedy, telling hilarious and sometimes unbelievable stories about growing up as a famous child actor, surviving homelessness and addiction, and discovering that somehow Hollywood wasn’t the weirdest part of his life. Now based in Atlanta with his fiancée, Shaun tours the country performing stand-up, appearing at fan conventions and sharing his message of recovery, resilience and never giving up—even when your IMDb page looks healthier than you do.
