Jordan Shanks-Markovina, also known online as friendlyjordies, is an Australian journalist, political commentator and stand-up comedian. His content focuses on Australian politics, culture and current affairs, often using what he describes as "lowbrow humour". Shanks's YouTube channel, created in February 2013, has over 1.4 million subscribers and 343 million views as of June 2026. He has interviewed several Australian politicians, including Jodi McKay, Tanya Plibersek, Kristina Keneally, Bill Shorten, Helen Dalton, and former prime minister Kevin Rudd.
