DESCRIPTION:Comedian Emil Wakim inked a deal with Netflix to record his deb
 ut\, hour-long stand-up special. While a specific premiere date has not yet
  been announced\, he is set to film the performance at the  Comedy Attic 
  in Bloomington\, Indiana- returning to the stage where he originally sta
 rted his comedy career nearly a decade prior.\n\nBe part of history! Only o
 ne other Netflix special has been filmed outside of a theatre and that at t
 he most famous comedy venue on Earth- The Comedy Cellar in NYC.\n\nFrom Dea
 dline:\n\nSNL  alum  Emil Wakim  has inked a deal to bring his first ful
 l-length comedy special to  Netflix . A premiere date has not yet been dis
 closed. Wakim will tape the hour in October.\n\nIt’ll be executive produc
 ed by Matthew Vaughan for Rotten Science.\n\nA stand-up comedian\, actor\, 
 and writer\, Wakim made history in 2024 as the first Lebanese American to b
 e cast in  Saturday Night Live \, performing as a featured cast member dur
 ing the landmark Season 50\, with frequent appearances on  Weekend Update 
 .\n\nPrior to his time on the sketch series\, Wakim taped sets for  Don’
 t Tell Comedy and  Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring \, with his stand-up 
 also featured on  The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon . Based in Brookl
 yn\, the comedian was named a New Face at Just for Laughs Montreal in 2022.
  He’ll be seen in A24’s upcoming comedy  Peaked  from Molly Gordon an
